When was Chicago incorporated as a city?

Once it was known for being the city that had the second biggest number of swedes! At the end of the nineteenth century only Stockholm had a larger population of swedish born people!

I love Chicago: Miracle Mile shopping, museums, various bldgs that are so historic, sports, and people! Sadly city is in ruins with crime in 2021!
