Yes, and if you are Rh negative and type O blood, likely myself, you are the universal donor. Which means anybody can receive your blood. So it's very important to donate if you share that particular O negative blood group.

have you had any children? The doctors would test you to see if you're Rh negative or rh positive and then they need to know the father's blood type to make sure it's compatible. I am Rh negative. why my husband is RH positive I had to have injections to be able to carry my children to term.

I am RH positive and my husband is RH negative. Luckily we didn't have issues with pregnancies. Both our children are RH negative.
