It wasn't "Confederate" artillery. It was the cadets from the Citadel, The Military College of the South in Charleston, SC who had no patience and decided, on their own, they'd had enough of the damn Blue bellies and decided to bombard Ft. Sumter in Charleston's harbor.

humbeldywump, eventually it stop slavery, however, it took too much time. There were laws inacted in the U.S. to get equal pay for equal work for women and minorities. This still does not happen. The workplace is getting better, however, it is also taking to long
