I didn't know the history of St. Valentine. Very interesting. Getting the right answer was easy considering when he was alive, there were no drivers or bloggers. Bèes are actually in much danger now. Pesticides in the nectar they depend upon is kicking them faster than they can reproduce. Going I organic may cost more, but it helps nature more than us humans.

Honey is not just a good food source for humans & other animals, Among other things honey bees are major pollinators, without which many beneficial crops would not survive. They are threatened by pesticides & habitat destruction, in the US they are in danger of being supplanted by other more aggressive, hardier non-native bee species!

marimargo, honey, (real honey) is a living food, not only sweetener. Found thousands of years old, still edible I really did lol when I got the right answer.
