Baht is the currency of what country?

I was there 50 years ago in 1974. I well remember child hawkers on the street, saying 2 baht. Needless to say I bought something, a brass or metal bell. I still have it.

A well known Thai saying is "mai mee tang" or "I have no satang" - a satang being the smallest denomination in the Kingdom - 10 satang equal to one baht! I ran a Private Detective agency in Thailand for many years -
