The series was rejected by a couple companies before AMC "took a chance" with the subject matter of the show. I really enjoyed the series during it's run. I found out about the rejection when I saw a special about it.

even though the subject matter was what it was and it was definitely not meant for children this show was very correct about what it is to be a meth head and it really made you think about how the world is now , and Bryan Cranston was iconic

I thought Breaking Bad was an excellent, exciting program. I only knew Bryan Cranston from "Malcolm in the Middle," and I had no idea that he could act. He was totally brilliant as Walter White.
