Jethrine321
I don't know which is worse, the killings, the cover-up or the fact that only ONE person was convicted of this OUT-IN-OUT war crime? SICK!

gizmoqueen
Jethrine321, Why do I remember Lt Calley was the onr convicted?

ash92be
gizmoqueen, You are right only Lt. Cally was convicted.

paul
Jethrine321, it gets worse he only served a year and never apologized for what he did.
Even worse than that Colin Powell was one of those who forced the cover up.
the US while condemning other nations has a terrible history of war crimes and cover ups as does the UK

AdjunctAmigo48604
gizmoqueen, yep, he took the fall

quicksilver
gizmoqueen, he was the platoon leader and in command

Player Say what!?
I was 14 years old and will always remember this horrible event.

Maestro1313
I still have memories of it. Brutal disregard for life.

Kane
Tinadenise50, Except for your arrival, my friend.😊

paul
Jethrine321, they also didn't mention the rapes

Coo
There are very few, if any, countries can say they have never committed war crimes. Pointing fingers achieves nothing as most of the guilty are long gone. What is important is that we learn from the past.

TW
How is William Calley not mentioned here? I agree, many more than one person should have been convicted for this crime.

Player #109668975
No good can come from any war.

ray
Jethrine321, Easy, the killings, got it?

Hugh
paul, and Iraq is a classic example of this.

SunnyDee
Jethrine321, i agree with you. These evil"soldiers" should be held accountable for their actions.

Shellback
808stevan1LT. Calley died for Westmorelandz's sons.

Tinadenise50
VelourBanjoPlayer141, I was born in 1968. I've never heard of this before. In my opinion, "68" was a horrible year 😢

Tinadenise50
Jethrine321, Exactly 😠

Daedalus
Crimes against humanity. This is crime without punishment. What would be Raskalnikov's view?

crismeng
ridicolous killings...hates much.
