I know of route 66 but not the Lincoln Hwy.

dolphinmn, I was always told it is Interstate 70. that Eisenhower saw how easy it was to move troops and provisions on the auto bonn and was determined to have one here. of course many of my relatives worked for Ike supplying food and munitions and Loved that man. Said an army couldn't move without food and that he loved his troops.

I tried to confirm this before posting, but I couldn't. I believe that there is a statute of Lincoln at a rest stop on Interstate 80 in Nebraska. That part of the Lincoln Hwy is I-80. Great photo op. level 116 on this game.

I wish they said what highways made up the Lincoln Highway. Would be fun to travel the route!

I live in a town in Indiana that the highway goes thru (Churubusco). Work in Ligonier, Indiana where the Lincoln Highways original bricks are still in the road. You would think that I knew that answer but I seriously was always told it was the route that Lincoln took on his campaign.
