What is a Queen Consort?

Cizinka, he was not. Neither was Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria - he was known as the Prince Consort. So where are these King Consorts you write of?

I believe the Queen named Camella that when she became ill.

Cizinka, Prince Philip was the Prince Consort. I think it has to do with men being considered of higher status than women. So his having "King" as part of his name would have made him seem higher than the Queen.

I didn't think Prince Phillip was known as a King Consort.
