The Isle of Man, or otherwise known as 'Ellan Vannin', also holds the greatest and most dangerous motorsport in the world annually, and it's called the Isle of Man TT road races. The TT, as it's known, started in 1907 and is the Islands single biggest source of revenue and attracts tens of thousands of spectators every year for the 2-week event. TT stands for 'Tourist Trophy'. Other than the TT, the Manx Island is famous for it's Manx Kippers and historically has been a tax haven for many people, including Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear/Grand Tour fame. It's a little known fact that the iconic group 'The Bee Gees' are also Manx men as they were born on the island.
