Lived there twice. in In Ketchikan for a year with my ex who was in the Coast Guard. Then lived in Valdez for about 6 mon. working at hospital as CT/xray tech. Gorgeous country, great people, loved it. But I'm from Texas and my family wanted me closed or I would have stayed.
