When was the last time that the World's Fair was held in New York?

went to the fair with my parents 2 times, it was lots of fun

saw Michelangelo's "Pieta" there

my Mom and I took a train from Baltimore to this World's Fair. was 10 years old, and I guess got into the fair for $1. I liked seeing the Pieta and was impressed by the animatronic Lincoln giving the Gettysburg Address!

spell correct is not our friend. I went to this event when I was approximately 8 years old. I'm still waiting for all these things that were promised 55 years ago.

I worked there in 1964 in the Texas pavilion as a member of a female drill team. we marched around the fairgrounds trying to attract visitors to the Texas pavilion. it was set up like a wild west town. (The owner of Six Flags was the sponsor of the Texas pavilion). But the main attraction was a Broadway musical called "To Broadway with Love."

Went there in Queens. Went to Hall of Science a few times. Loved it! 😁
