You should visit his first home and the John Wayne museum in Winterset, IA. It has his station wagon in it along with some of his clothes he wore in the westerns and a saddle he used in the movies....pretty cool. Then walk around the town square...it has a beautiful courthouse!

One of my favorite John Wayne movies is "Donovan's Reef". Its one of his movies that isn't a western, war or strictly romance. It's more a comedy.
