Eilise, it’s not seeing the colour through the outer layer, it’s seeing the indent of the outer seem of the underwear, where it compresses into the fat on the bottom causing a small dent into the flesh resulting in a visible line.

I have a white pair of pants responsible for this. I wear longer tops with them.
