The bobcat is native to which continent?
Correct answer: North America
Jo Alice Rushing Davis
Have seen several outside my home in EAST TEXAS
Nutshell
We have both bobcats & lynx which look very similar. You can really only tell them apart when they are walking because the back of the bobcat is flat. The lynx has longer hind legs than front legs so it's rear end sticks up higher, because they are very powerful sprinters.
Just a neat fact if you're ever up north, see a cat and wonder which it is.

I live in Ventura, California on secluded Avocado ranch. While taking my dogs for hikes into my back yard (Los Padres National Forest) we had a Bob Cat that stalked us for 2 solid months. Thank God I had 4 grown Rottweiler dogs. We ignored him, he ignored us. 😃

Su Xieli, they are everywhere near me in northern California. I live in the Sierra Nevadas and yes, they are predators. Anyone who moves to this area needs to understand that this was their forest first. Whether it is a bear, bobcat or mountain lion, you have to have respect and boundaries.

Bulldogsmomma, since it is unlikely that anyone has been feeding the bobcat, there is a good chance that it may have been ill.
