I taught these laws to 5th graders in Colorado. Even a ten year old can understand when explained in simple language. Fun experiments to illustrate the concepts too. P.S. I had a retired high school physical sciences teacher volunteering in my classroom who taught me how to make these concepts accessible to young people.
