What other name(s) did Pocahontas have?
Correct answer: All three are correct

Player #472127
If all three are correct, then any answer should also be correct. Otherwise, every time you see that option of "All three are correct" you know that is the right answer automatically. Too easy

Matoaka was a child that was kidnapped by the English, raped and forced to convert to Christianity. This isn't some love story they're making it out to be.

SuziStardust
She also visited England where she even met the King and Queen but unfortunately died on the ship on the beginning of her journey home and is actually buried in a graveyard in a town just outside London called Gravesend.

JoBahls
John Smith was full of crap. She was like 11 when he met her. He later wrote some stories which were mostly made up.

Player #472127, - You know, I've come to think this game is more to inform & educate than it is to solicit correct answers. That's the way it seems to me. That's OK. I like it either way.

Player #1598975
Player GayleP, I am native American. I did not get that from the reading. envy comes from ignorance, not facts

HazelTwigg
I live in a town called Rolfe. The town nearby is called Pocahontas. They have a large fiberglass statue of her, along the lines of the Paul Bunyan ones, though not quite as big.

adams101313
Jazzyboo1117, from what I found there's several theories of what killed her. it doesn't mention suicide. it does mention possible poisoning. I was taught she died of smallpox.

Player GayleP, WTH.... always with some racist BS. Give it a rest. I

Player #3004749
Player #2248887FIDEL, chill out, it's a game!

Lawanda Jacho
why it's she not depicted as the"NATIVE AMERICAN" that she was the pic in the question resembles a white lady!

SigaSiga
TenseMaestro26510, Thumbs up. So conscious of the practice of my ancestors (Anglo-Euro roots): shameful to know that we demanded "assimilation", forcing 'Pokeahantis' to be a God-loving/fearing, free(?) American. Still happens to many people in US. Speak truth and justice for all... love to all races.

konie1
history is sensationally appealing indeed

StrickenFame7
Player Elf Council, You don't get pneumonia from cold weather otherwise there would be vast amounts of the world unpopulated

Isidora
Pocahontas had a sad life she deserved a better one.She was brave and strong.

Queen Esther
Player #472127, Yeah u right!!!

Queen Esther
So Pocahontas was real?!! ( wow!! thought it wss just a made up movie!! no offense!!)

Giggle Pig
Player Elf Council, really you saw her grave? When I went to St. George’s church in a little town next to Rochester, they told me they had lost her.

Giggle Pig
SuziStardust, she was buried in a church chancel, which is a high honor. I tried to find it in 2017, and believe it or not they have lost her. We send one princess over there and they lose her. Grrrr! Something about the old church burnt down and they rebuilt it in a different location and so they aren’t sure where the original church was. I say no excuse. We should lose one of their princesses. I think they would volunteer Meghan. Just a joke.

Andi
JoBahls, Ohh my goodness!!

Mouth🤪
I want to see the second Pocahontas!

Lil
SuziStardust, Officials are petitioning to have her remains brought back to Virginia.

Player #92723922
Excuse me - all 4 are correct!

breezy
TenseMaestro26510, how does anyone really know what happened that long ago when a message whispered around a circle of people isn't correct when the last person says it out loud? people always misinterpret, dramatize, or mishear so with that many years in-between, how do we ever really know? genuine question, no sarcasm

Grammar
Player #472127, You are right in always choosing "All three are correct," but choosing just one that is correct says the other three answers are incorrect.

mazie
JoBahls, he carried his own publicist with him to write about his "great adventures"

mazie
SuziStardust, and she was only around 20 years old when she died
