What is the Japanese word for "way of the sword"?

My brother was actually born in Japan. He learned karate here in the US. He was a black belt and quite proficient at it. And he loved to watch karate movies like Rush Hour and Rush Hour 2 with Jackie Chan.

CyanJaguar62, the only martial art I practice is Tai Shu. it involves a lot of bending at the waist.

I used to do Tai Chi Sword when I was younger. It's almost like dancing.
