Kendo is deeply rooted in ancient Bushido, the code of the Samurai. While it has evolved into a modern martial art, Kendo still embodies the Samurai values of honor, discipline, and respect.

CyanJaguar62, a couple of days ago, my wife was watching some movies that showed some men that practiced kendo with the helmets, armor, and bamboo swords. One was in his 60’s, the other in his 40’s. The elderly man told the younger man that he needed to concentrate more on his own body than on the outside world. I wonder if Kendo is linked to Bushido?
