Bigkev, actually, you can see 7 legs in the picture one sticking out from under the claw that's further back, safe to assume the eight leg is hidden by the front claw.

I lived and camped all over Utah for twenty years, and I never saw a scorpion. But the first time I came to Texas, I saw one on our hotel room wall. Needless to say, we changed rooms in record time.

I've lived in Utah for 2 1/2 decades and have still never seen a live scorpion before. My sister has, and she lives in West Desert in Utah.
