How many feet are in a furlong?

when I was in elementary school in the early 60s in the U.S. we started learning the metric system. We were told the U.S. would be converting to metric very soon to comply with the rest of the world. 60 years later I'm still waiting.

Player #10702960, Especially with conversion. Once you learn the prefixes, just move the decimal point. 1 mm=0.1 cm=0.001 m and so on.
