I read a book about her that was later turned into a movie! The book was more explicit about moral depravities, disgustingly so.

There is something missing. After her husband's death, the Romans saw a chance to annex the Iceni . The Romans attacked, pillaged and raped Boudikas ' daughters. This is why she rebelled. The history is unclear, but that is what I have read.
