Born (1949) and raised in Phoenix. Played outside in 118 degree in summer, and wore shorts on Christmas Day to show off presents to neighborhood. This past summer (2023) the hottest in years, wiped out a lot of vegetation, and caused heat related deaths! My air conditioner struggled to keep my home at a semi comfortable temperature of 80 degrees. This winter started out colder than last year, but already this week will hit 80 degrees!

I was born in Phoenix and have lived in Tucson since 2003, I don't get how anyone can wax poetic about a hellhole like Arizona and it's an expensive hellhole too: the sales tax here is 8.7 in Tucson outpacing huge places like New York and California; I grew up in Overland Park, KS., Little Rock, Ark. and Sacramento, CA. , so I know there's a lot better places than Arizona or Hellazonia.

Luna, I lived in Tucson from 1990-2016, and every day regret moving back to the Indiana/Kentucky region. The weather here is usually humid, the allergies are off the charts and winters are usually miserable, if you don’t like snow. Missing AZ terribly. 😢

I remember learning about the 5 C's of Arizona (cotton, citrus, cattle, copper, and climate) many years ago, as well as visiting the state capitol. Lived in Prescott (one of my preferred places to live in AZ), visit Tucson occasionally (loved Old Tucson), and have visited Tombstone (I plan on visiting again soon). Oh, and don't forget Bearizona. Love that place. The (mostly) desert climate of AZ may not be the best for me, but the state has great things to offer, like the Grand Canyon (now that's a place I have yet to visit but hopefully will).
