Good question but check spellings please, "Drowsiness" is spelt wrong and there are two different versions of "Paraesthesia" used. I've used the UK version but US English may be different.

PointyDormouse60089, The cause is 2 fold...movement causing friction is the lesser of the causes...sweat and urine are the door cause. minor changes in position of the person can help immensely! keeping the affected area clean and dry is the best way to avoind the ulcers... I hope that helps.

PointyDormouse60089, b/c decubitus is referring to the skin! one (ulcers) happens when a comatose or paralyzed patient isn't turned enough. The pressure from laying in one position causes cers on the skin!
