In the early days voting was boring because extremely predictable. Countries had to submit songs only in their own language. Scandinavia and Finland voted for each other and no-one else. Who voted for Switzerland depended on which language they used that year. Germany and Austria voted for each other. France and Italy never voted for Germany and Ireland never, never, ever voted for the UK! Recently countries outside Europe managed to get inc!uded - I believe Australia and Israel managed to appear. Fortunately Israel decided to avoid the humiliation of "Nul Points" by not entering this year.
