The Andes mountains are in which continent?

I am lucky enough to say that I have visited Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. Amazing places, but oh the headaches caused by altitude were horrendous! Not to forget the sickness!! Local people chewed on coca leaves to help them, there were so many different types of product with coca from boiled sweets to biscuits & tea.

I went to Peru & all the hotels, even at sea level in Lima, had Mate de Coca (Coca tea) on tap. We drank it from the time we arrived till the time we left. It also helps with gut health. Unfortunately Australia won't allow it to be imported even though it has absolutely no hallucinogenic properties whatsoever *sigh* 😕

I rode mountain horses to the top of the Andes mountains in chile! It was the craziest most beautiful thing I’ve done thus far (also super scary lol)

So My mountains are in South America! Cool!! ;)

The Andes Mountains are located around mostly in Peru 🇵🇪 where Macchu Picchu is located at and where llamas and alpacas roam and even Chile 🇨🇱 where Andean condors flew and soar through the skies.
