Thank you Red Tails for your courage and sacrifice to keep us safe during WW11. It is so sad that not many veterans from WW11 are still alive today. But, RIP that you are blessed with eternal life. And, for their families still alive, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have to endure day in, day out. God bless you!

Angel Smith, These men who served were not allowed even to park their aircraft in the same areas as the white pilots. They had to use separate restrooms and even water fountains. Still, they served. I think it says something about the progress our nation has made, that these men were honored in the Rose Parade a few years back. As their open car drove down the parade route, the whole audience (yep, mostly whites) spontaneously stood in honor of these brave men. The applause was thunderous.

Almost every nation has had slaves at one point or another. Today, the sex slave trade is alive and well. Our resources and efforts need to go towards helping free these people, many whom are children. I'm glad our black brothers and sisters are getting better treatment but we've still got a long way to go.

AppleA815, there are actually 2 movies, Red Tails, and The Tuskegee Airmen, Cuba Gooding Jr. plays in both as totally different characters, I like Tuskegee Airmen better, both are great though

Player #680186, I hope you are interested enough to research the group or at least watch the movies. I was fortunate enough to meet one of the last living Tuskegee Airmen at an airshow a few years ago. I took a pic in front of a Red Tail plane. He was a very interesting person. He and his wife were a lovely couple.

This is an oversight of greatest proportions, that the US failed to recognize these and other US war heroes until after they died. They were Wonderful, Brave men and women who fought to keep U.S. democracy alive!

I'm not in any way being rude when I say this but I think the question needs to be rephrased because I didn't understand the question because of the way it was worded.

firepower1, Come visit canada. Much respect. During bicentenial escorted two gentlemen off my ship in new york who had demanded two other give up their seats to them in our mess. Thanks to New Yorkers for accepting and protecting all our crews who visited, even in areas that all others would refuse to visit. Where we didnt see or understand a difference with people.
