My mom watched Hit Parade in the 50’s with Dorothy Collins, Snooky (honest) Lanson, Gisele MacKenzie so proud of being from Winnipeg, Canada, and Russell Arms, and every week, since it was number one, they had to come up with a skit to sing “Love and Marriage”. Haven’t thought about it in 60 years. I love this site.

It was a very funny show. A coworker said he loved the show because of all the things Al told his wife, that he wished he could have told his.
