Never heard of that game ever til my young son would play it with his friends coming home from school in the late 2000s... and our family car owned by my parents in the 60s and 70s was a VW beetle!

There aren't those models many years ago. They were economic, their motor was ahead, not in the back instead but the only thing I disliked them were they had only two doors

In my school days in the UK, it was "Herbie (colour of Herbie) no rebounds" ... in the 1970s, there seemed to be an awful lot of orange ones!

I always called that game "Slug Bug"
