Wow, getting really bored with people who continually comment 'who cares.' If you don't care don't leave a comment!

minge eater, hey, I care, and I'm a Yank. As I have said I like all types of sports. Horse racing is another of them I really like. And, yes, even races overseas. Love the steeplechase! Definitely a real test of endurance and skill for both jockeys and horses.

I live in the uk and it’s barbaric every year horses die on the course and are shot to end their suffering all in the name of sport!! If you enjoy this you’re sick !!

Greatest horseback in the world. They have made the fences easier which has made the race faster, but still difficult. Check out the greatest winner of the race, Red Rum. Ran 5 times in the race, won 3 & 2cd twice. Red Rum saved the Grand National. Especially check out his first win, you will fall in love with Crisp & Red Rum.

I went to this race once and it's a fantastic experience. The festival atmosphere in Liverpool was magical. lots of hugely talented horses and jockeys. a pure joy.

I'm lucky enough to live in Liverpool. so have attended many of these races. But it's such a huge thing in this city. Nearly every single person from day old babies to 100yr old ladies plus family pets ha ha. Will have a little bet placed. even if it's just 10p.
If by amount of people taking part. it would be bigger than Halloween and bonfire night I think. probably 3rd only to Christmas and football. Y.N.W.A. JFT96

Good question. Was not aware that the start of this race had been moved that far. Safety is probably the only reason for changing something so entrenched in tradition.
