Absolutely horrible animal abuse. Live sharks have their fins cut off and are dumped back in the ocean to die a slow and painful death. This should be banned worldwide and not just country by country.

awful. shark fin does not even provide nutrition or flavour, eating them is just evil

it's been banned here in Canada. the sharks are taken in the boats then fins are cut off. the poor things drown when they throw the bodies back in the ocean 😢

Lou Lou, I seen a video of this, the most terrible thing done to a living creature I've ever witnessed !! It made me ill. Without their fins, sharks are helpless. The people that do that should have their arms cut off, then be thrown into the ocean !! What's good for the goose is good for the gander.😃

As large and crowded as China, are there no animal rights activists, eco-friendly, humanitarians? IDK, but I don't ever hear about that.
