Lived in bk all my life except for 2 yrs lived in Staten island. Yes it's too crowded here. I have 2 major hospitals down the street so the ambulances use my street all the time. Hate when ppl dont move out of their way. Interestingly, if u watch the 1st ep of "who's the boss" Tony Danza brings a tape recording of city noises like sirens etc. so he can sleep. Can't tell u how true that is. 2yrs in Si the birds used to wake me up but in bk sirens, gunfire and contstruction- no problem! lol

luckycatfay, visit the beach but I never go when it's crowded with people burning. I like to go before sunrise and stay for a few hours get out of the hot Sun by 10:30 in the morning and then come back in the evening.

MY SISTER AND I WERE BOTH BORNN AND PARTIALLY RAISED IN BROOKLYN. MOVED TO CALIFORNIA AND WENT BACK IN1967. IT CHANGED DRASTICALLY WHILE WE WERE GONE. NOW I LIVE IN TEXAS.
