What is the name for a severe type of headache?

I suffered from migraines after being hit by a car and suffered a fractured skull and concussion. Some yrs later a had a really bad one , I went to the doctor, they gave me pain but didn’t help, a week later there was a thunderstorm and my migraine went

I use to have migraines every day found out later I had epilepsy. ran in the family
