I enjoy a Guinness on occasion. I imagine some purists may not like my next statement. I also enjoy a "black and tan" (a mix of lager and Guinness) on occasion.

Guinness tastes so much better in Ireland than it does in the US.

I'm writing this for people like me who didn't know exactly what Stout is. Stout is a form of beer that uses roasted barley and malt. It is darker in color and stronger than beer. The malt gives it a smooth mouth-feel.

Guinness tastes better in Ireland as it's ingredients for are a bit different, until recently the only vegetarian version😀having no isinglass findings. This has since been remedied in the UK. I like it best with lime. I was advised to take it to avoid anaemia when I was pregnant.

toothless beachrat, Black and Tans are good. Saranac makes a good one. Then there's a Black and Blue. Guinness, or Boddingtons, with Blueberry ale.
