Where were the grammar nazis when this was thought up? "think differentLY" "different" is an adjective. Adjectives describe nouns. "think" is a verb. Adverbs modify verbs. differently is an adverb. But in this age of newspeak and newspell because of texting, who cares?

I'd like to add that mention should be made that "Think" was IBM's motto, hence, Apple's slightly different take. Notice I used "slightly" the adverb and not "slight" the adjective.

WaldoLydeker, while all grammatically correct people would think differently, the ones who wanted a unique identity would "think different" to have people take notice.

and typical american bad English. it shoukd have been Think DifferentLY. as in an adverb relating to the verb "to think". "different" is an adjective and describes an object as in "different thoughts"
