The United Kingdom is not a country but a group of countries. England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Nottingham is in England.

Great Britain is the geographical landmass of England, Scotland and Wales. The UK is the political union including Northern Ireland and the British Isles includes Eire. Up until Charles 3rd I would suggest we were a disunited Queendom!

C.live, Politically, people would call it "the UK" Nobody would say "England" politically because Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland "belongs to England" which isn't a right term... So, it doesn't matter if it's England or the UK They are acceptable terms..
