One of Barrymore's best performances imo. The 2 remakes 1932 with Frederic March & the 1941 with Spencer Tracy are almost identical in story and dialog yet very different (especially with Hyde/Jekyll's death) from the 1920 version. March even won Best Actor Oscar for his role.
