I've had many dogs of many breeds over the years, and loved them all!
The love of my life was a beagle female!
She was the runt of her litter and the breeder was going to drown her, until I insisted I wanted her!
She was the sweetest, gentlest, and most loving dog I've ever had, and she had the softest ears I've ever felt on any animal!
I lost her about 13 years ago, and I still miss her to this day!
I'm getting a new dog soon, and I'm hoping to find another beagle!

Snoopy is the cutest.

they are very good to be used to sniff out illegal plants on airplanes. The San Francisco airport uses them for that purpose. I know about that because I went on a field trip there when I worked as a paraprofessional in the San Francisco School District.

I know someone who breeds Beagles. Apparently their upright tails are called "Sterns" rather than tails

Here in the US I haven't seen to many of this breed in over the years. A neighbor, when I was kid had one, but not too friendly. Not like Snoopy!
