Peanut grows in Calcium rich soil. Then soil should have more limestone can grow more peanuts.

Most tropical regions (Africa and Asia) have them. I used to sell them at a farmers market and invited my African, Asian and Southern (AL, GA, VA, FL, SC … etc) to my various peanut treats. Been eating them since I was 3.
