BurnedHypogriff879, A Reply: Many American states have Nick names and mascots. Kansas calls itself "The Land of Ahs" a play on the "Kingdom of Oz from the movie "The Wizard of Oz fame. Many US states on their vehicles license plates have slogans that reflect their sentiments such as Missouri plates that have "The Show Me State" for their inclination to need proof for things. 😃

Player #122266993, I'm originally from Ohio! I've never heard any evidence the Buckeye nut is edible, in any form or manner of preparation! I find it hard to convince that these nuts can be so bountiful, yet virtually useless! The wood of the tree is a hard wood, great for furniture making, etc., but it is rarely heard of in the lumber mills! Beautiful, strong trees that provide a lot of shade, and home to a number of wildlife!

I was wondering if the nuts were edible. I'll Google it.🤔
