what is the difference between a frog and a toad?

While frogs have smooth or slimy skin that is moist, toads have thicker, bumpy skin that is usually dry. The differences in their skin are because of their typical environments. Frogs spend most of their lives in or near water. Toads on the other hand, get out on land a little more and find their way into gardens and yards. Frogs also have longer back legs for jumping and eating.

I googled it afterwards. some toads you can get high by licking it lol. toads live closer to water then frogs. frogs also jump higher then toads, and frogs also are 'skinnier', I mean that toads blow up their neck thingies bigger. nature is amazingly strange , isnt it?
