This drawing is also a solution to a classic mathematical problem: squaring the circle. Essentially, the problem states that it is impossible to find a square that has the same area as a circle. Using Vitruvian Man, DaVinci came close to solving that problem.
This drawing also shows the presence of Golden Ratio, a ratio which is present abundantly in nature and is considered to make things symmetrical, hence beautiful.
