Sueannie46, Mount Aconcagua is about 7 000 M which is about 23 000 feet high and takes about 18-20 days to climb ENTIRELY but some can complete up to 12-13 days . like there is a man who climbed Aconcagua in within 12 days and considered it his "MOST POWERFUL EMOTION IN LIFE".

I must be confused. The question is, "what is the highest mountain..." and then is referenced to be in the Andes Mountains? Does that not perhaps make it the highest peak(?) in the Andes Moutains (which would then be the highest mountain)?
