What do we call a tree that keeps its leaves in winter?

I thought they were called coniferous.

I have an oak that keeps leaves through the winter and are pushed off by the new leaves of Spring

Cizinka, technically they would be considered coniferous I got it wrong but trees with needles are. Coniferous and trees that shed are deciduous.

I thought it was perennial

Rainforests are also ever green because they get enough water from high amount of rainfall all year-round

So if evergreens typically have needles, why did the question say leaves???
