Chris, very yes. By definition, Black is the absence of light and is therefore colorless.

This question was good but the choice of answers was odd. Included were two options for colourless (surely either were correct... especially when you read the description) and why not black! Oh of course, black, as everyone tells me, is not a colour, rather the absence of colour. Surely this is wrong. I agree that black is the absence of light but it is a colour in the purely artistic sense... maybe.
