Which piece of equipment do scientists look through to see small things?

my teacher discuss it, fun fact: it is an instrument design to produce magnified visual or photograpic images of small objects which cannot be seen by naked eye microscopy: it is the science of investigating small objects and structures using a microscope thanks for reading hehe :)
