What is the largest helicopter currently in use by the U.S. Army?

Love that helicopter.

I am a retired television news photographer, and throughout my career I was privileged to be able to fly in many different helicopters from military to privately owned. The chinook was my favorite! What wonderful memories.

When I was in the US Army, buddy told me never to get in a Chinook if it wasn't leaking.... when I asked why he said, " because it's ran out of whatever is leaking." 🤣

Interesting that they did not use a photo of the helicopter in question.

Do they not use the 53 still, which is larger than the 46/47.
