How much money did the United States pay to Russia for the territory known as Alaska in 1867?

I though it was cheapest territory gain by money for USA

Angie, At the time of the Louisiana Purchase in 1803, it was the cheapest, at 3 cents per acre. But the 1867 purchase of Alaskan territory was even cheaper, at 2 cents per acre.
