Had never heard the original name but since the picture is literally a gold plated gramophone I figured that was the answer. I was right!

marccrand, Ha Ha, so many of are - I am a proud baby boomer! I am so fortunate to have the gramophone my paternal grandfather & grand mother owned! The drawers are FULL of records, which we occasionally play!!
