At the posh school I went to , a pupil sleepwalked out if a first floor window, broke both ankles and then crawled back upstairs into bed . Without waking. He was found next morning by following the trail of blood.

When I was a kid I used to engage in a little Somnambulism. Walked right out the door and down the street. Nothing like the guy with the trail of blood, but lots of funny stories. For sleepwalking enthusiasts, might I recommend the film, Cabinet of Dr Caligari. Now there's a sleepwalking nightmare.

I'm not sure if it was classed as sleepwalking, but my husband has told me that he has ..in the past..had a few conversations with me, while I'm asleep. Plus, on a few occasions, he has witnessed me doing 'odd things, i.e. .. getting out of bed, walking to the light switch, turning it on and off, and then climbing back into bed!

Player #25874027, sounds like the pain from his broken ankles would’ve woken him up before he crawled into bed!

When my husband first came to this country he still had nightmares about the Savak coming after him to imprison and torture since my husband spoke out against the government and had to exile . He would sleep walk , but one night in particular I woke up to him squeezing my neck in his sleep . Another night I woke up to him shaking me by the shoulders like a rag doll. Of course he had no memory of almost strangling me . 43 years later we are still married but sleep in different parts of the house 🤣🤡

I have never sleep walked but my niece has, when she was little. A lot. One time she walked all the way to Krystal’s restaurant and was standing in line 2 order food in her pj’s when a lady said “Honey, where r ur parents? Then they decided 2 call the police and her mom and dad came swiftly 2 pick her up. I can tell u they were a lot more careful about watching her and put more locks higher up on the door, where she couldn’t reach them!! I’m soo glad nothing bad happened 2 her!

My older brother did this once as a young man in his undies when my mother had some elderly friends visiting. He was able to respond to her but remained completely asleep. Went to the stereo to “fix” it, then went back to bed.
