Anticoagulants seem to be miracle drugs, and they are, but they work by increasing the clotting time, but if you hit your body and/or your body is hit, both of which happen in real life you can easily and quickly bleed to death. If you're older and can take them, do so. Only death itself is worse than severe stroke or a massive heart attack.
